This masterful performance opens with works by Haydn and the 20th-century master Shostakovich, and concludes with Brahms’ intense and restless first quartet.  This Saturday’s broadcast also includes a never before heard interview with violist Ori Kam and Jonathan Palvesky.

Just 25 years old, Conrad Tao has appeared worldwide as a pianist and composer, and has been dubbed a musician of “probing intellect and open-hearted vision” by The New York Times. A recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant and Gilmore Young Artist Award, he made his Baltimore Recital Debut on Shriver Hall Concert Series’ stage on April 7, 2019.
