In Memoriam: Jephta Drachman

The Board of Directors and Staff of Shriver Hall Concert Series mourn the passing of our dear friend and colleague Jephta Drachman. Jephta served as a Director from 1987 to 2017, including 20 years as President. SHCS thrives today because of her vision, energy, determination, and inspiring leadership. She raised the series' level of artistry, led a successful endowment campaign, and recruited a devoted patron base.
In her own words, "this series was created and nurtured by people whose only motive was the love of music and the desire to share it in order to enrich and broaden lives." We remember her with admiration and gratitude, and we express heartfelt condolences to the entire Drachman family.
