Ian Bostridge's recital on March 9th was his first return to the Balimore in more than 15 years. Joined by his longtime collaborator pianist Julius Drake, the acclaimed English tenor presented a recital of works by John Dowland, Gerald Finzi, Franz Schubert, Roger Quilter, Ivor Gurney, Erich Korngold, and Benjamin Britten. The first half featured texts by William Shakespeare and the second was comprised of Britten's song cycle The Holy Sonnets of John Donne.

WBJC, Maryland's classical music station, chatted with Shriver Hall Concert Series' executive director Catherine Cochran about the upcoming 2024-25 season. Speaking with WBJC's Judith Krummeck, Catherine highlighted this season's pianists and debut artists. Judith observed, "It's going to be the usual mix of wonder at the Shriver Hall Concert Series" and "The Shriver Hall Concert Series goes from strength to strength, and the next season builds on their success."
Quatuor Ébène’s Baltimore Debut last Sunday was the esteemed group’s first return to the region in 10 years. Since then, the group has changed personnel, most recently welcoming cellist Yuya Okamoto in January.
