Safety Update: Booster Dose and New Masking Requirements
Jan 20, 2022
We are happy to welcome you to Shriver Hall Concert Series. Our COVID-19 Safety Policies have recently changed. As of January 18, all concert attendees are required to provide proof of full vaccination and, if eligible, proof of booster dose, and matching photo ID for all SHCS events, as well as being acceptably masked at all times. Acceptable masks are N95, KN95, KF94, and a combination of a cloth mask with a surgical mask. Visit our full COVID-19 policy to learn more.
(1) Booster Now Required for Everyone Eligible
Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 AND booster dose, if eligible, will now be required to attend SHCS events. Patrons will be asked to show a photo ID, alongside proof of vaccination and booster shot to enter.
(2) New Mask Requirements
The Johns Hopkins University, home of our primary venue Shriver Hall, has updated its definition of acceptable masks to the following. Masks continue to be required at all times in Shriver Hall and all SHCS venues.
- N95 masks
- KN95 masks
- KF94 masks
- A combination of a cloth mask with a surgical mask
Please note that neither a cloth mask alone nor a surgical mask alone satisfy the requirement, nor does a combination of two cloth masks or two surgical masks.
If you do not feel comfortable with these protocols and have already purchased tickets, you can donate your tickets, transfer the value to a gift certificate, or request a refund. Please remember that the Subscription Series concerts will be available through live streaming.
