Shriver Hall Concert Series is pleased to announce the appointments of Hakeem Clark and Dr. Ericka Covington to our Board of Directors!

Hakeem Clark has 18 years of experience in the fields of health and wellness, and operations. He has served at LifeBridge Health in a variety of capacities for the past thirteen years. Currently he’s the Executive Director of LifeBridge Health & Fitness, named one of the Top 100 Fitness Centers in the U.S. by IDEA magazine, and Director of Corporate Retail Services for the entire health system. In this work, he’s applied his passion for building and growing businesses with over 7 million dollars in total revenue through the development of LifeBridge Sports Medicine and employee wellness for all 14,000 employees. He is also the founding Chair of LifeBridge Health’s 120-person award-winning Diversity & Inclusion Council. Prior to this, Hakeem had positions in Sales and Marketing along with developing a Sports Performance Franchise business. In addition to being a member of the Shriver Hall Concert Series Board of Directors, Hakeem is a Strategic Advisor for Athlete Haven which provides mental health services for young athletes. An alum of the University of Maryland, Hakeem is a violinist who played from the age of 4.
Dr. Ericka Covington currently serves as Interim Dean of The School of Graduate Studies at Coppin State University. She is a dynamic business expert and an accomplished leader with a wealth of expertise in leading national marketing initiatives for a major Fortune 500 company, and has facilitated numerous trainings on strategic management and effective leadership practices to corporate professionals. She is also certified in diversity, equity, and inclusion through Cornell University. Dr. Covington serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Leadership and Management and a reviewer for the Eastern Academy of Management. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated-Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter. She resides in Owings Mills with her husband, and has two sons and two stepdaughters.
