Update: COVID-19 and March 15 Concert
Mar 12, 2020
Dear Friends,
As you may have already learned, The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) has announced a series of precautionary measures effective March 11 through April 12, 2020 in response to the spread of COVID-19 and expert public health guidance. Shriver Hall sits on JHU’s Homewood Campus.
The health and safety of our community is our priority, and, to that end, Shriver Hall Concert Series is canceling Sunday’s concert with violist Tabea Zimmermann and pianist Javier Perianes. As JHU reevaluates its guidelines in the coming weeks, we will share further information about the remainder of our season. We share your disappointment, and thank you for your understanding as we all do our part in protecting one another.
In the meanwhile, we will be in touch with current ticketholders later today regarding ticket options. We hope that you might support our mission during this challenging time, and please consider donating your ticket(s) as a tax-deductible gift. We are committed to ensuring that Shriver Hall Concert Series can continue to contribute to the vitality of Baltimore through world-class chamber music and recitals, and we are grateful for your support in fulfilling our mission.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions by replying to this email or by calling us at (410) 516-7164. We wish you good health and peace of mind.
With warm wishes,
Catherine Cochran
Executive Director
